Registering to bid for TL Online Auctions is free and allows you to bid on any piece of equipment listed on https://www.tlonlineauctions.com/hs-timed-auctions. To register to bid, just click on the Register to Bid button below and go through the two-step registration process. Any information submitted through the registration process is absolutely confidential. Once you have submitted your registration for approval, you will recieve a phone call from an AuctionTime.com representative to finalize your registration and answer any questions you might have about the bidding process.
Live bidding is the period of time when bidders can monitor the auctions and place live bids on the equipment. We encourage you to contact us for viewing opportunities of the equipment before live bidding to get more information that you may not be able to get online. Once live bidding is open, all bids are final and cannot be removed.
By turning on Quick Bid, you will not be redirected to a confirmation page. Your bid will be accepted with one click of the bid button.
You will have the opportunity as a bidder to place a max bid - the highest amount you are willing to bid on a piece of equipment. The seller and other bidders will never know the amount of this bid. AuctionTime.com will place bids on your behlaf, using the smallest bidding increment necessary to ensure that you remain the high bidder until your max bid is met. If another bidder has placed the same bid before your, or a higher max bid, we'll let you know that you've been outbid and you will have the opportunity to place another bid if you want.
When a piece of equipment has an hour left to bid, it will display that any bid placed in the last minute of the auction will extend the auction by up to 40 seconds (20 seconds for Quick Bids). Bids placed in the last minute of an auction will continue to extend the end time as long as bids continue to be placed on the piece.
After the auction has ended, an email will be sent out to the winning bidder with the seller's contact information. The seller will receive a similar email with the winner's contact information. It will be up to these two parties to contact each other on the details of the financial transaction and transportation of the piece of equipment.
Sometimes, auction listings with the same manufacturer and/or model can be grouped together. All listings in an auction group end at the same time. If any of the auctions in the group take a bid in the final minute, all listings in the group will have their time extended. Listings in an auction group will be linked together on the Auction Board as well.
You have the option to set up email and text notifications when you add different pieces of equipment on the site to your Watch List. You can also choose to receive different notifications throughout the auction prosess on the pieces you have selected.
New listings are added to AuctionTime every day, and you can choose to recieve alerts whenever a listing is added that matches your interests. Start by opening your account menu at the top of the page and selecting Email Alerts for New Listings. You can then add alerts for new listings based on any combination of equipment/vehicle category, manufacturer, and/or model. You can also manage existing alerts here.
Prior to bidding, the buyer has access to contact with the seller and can ask any questions they have about the machine, shipping, sales tax, and payment details to avoid any issues once the auction has ended. Once live bidding opens, all bids are final and cannot be removed.
The winning bidder is expected to contact the seller immediately following the sale to set up payment and a time to pick up the item.
